Announcing a new Meetup for The Baltimore Guitarist Group!
What: Intro to Open Mics - Beginners Jam
When: May 16, 2009 1:00 PM
Where: Dundalk Village Coffee & Tea House
Meetup Description: Are you a Beginner or Intermediate that still has that fear of going to a crowded Open Mic?
You want to get up there, but, your knotty stomach stops you?
This is your chance to go through all of the motions of an Open Mic in a coffeehouse setting without the crowd! Sure there may be a customer or two but there won't be a seated packed house! This Jam will be limited to 10 people so sign up soon!
We will go through all the basics of Open Mic etiquette (yes it exists) and to how to plug in and adjust the mic so you sound your best! You'll be among friends, so if you mess up, you can start over or pick up where you left off. You'll always get a round of applause at the end.
