What Marv Egolf is saying about this Meetup Group

This is a good opportunity for starting musicians to perform with others in a non-judgmental situation and a great chance for established musicians to perform with different combinations of players.

  • Yes, I'm somewhat familiar with the song. Bobby Bare's version is in E. I prefer G.P's version in F.

  • Marv:

I'm playing my old standards at Marshy Point - Wish you were here-Floyd, Seagull-Bad Co, To the OneI love-REM. We tried Blood and Roses at Steve's jam and i want to do that acoustic as well as Runnin Down a dream-TP. Can you do the bottom riffs on those two?

I can email notes on chords etc. but Blood is all BASS; I sing and strum.

    Let me know.

  • Marv, thanks for your graciousness in hosting. Jaq and I really enjoyed the company and music, oh yeah, the food. However in our worry about getting the chili home we forgot a chair. It's grey and has a table connected to it. Now I have a reason to meet up with you again. Thank you again

  • That's a good idea, Marv, however, one particular guy said he couldn't get there any earlier because of his daughter's schedule.
