Introduction

Played guitar some in the past, but had no direction and sold my equipment recently after a 15 year hiatus I have gotten back into learning and have a definate direction and very motivated and inspired.

What level guitarist are you? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)

Beginner

Where did you find out about the Baltimore Guitarist Group?

Saw the add on Craigs List Baltimore

What is your favorite guitar that you own?

I have a Seagull Acoustic/Electric that I love. Ovation Celebrity Acoustic/Electric, electric Re-issue '72 Fender Telecaster Thinline Hollow body W/ Humbuckers. Breedlove Elec/acoustic, Gibson Les Paul. Love them all!

What guitar do you wish you owned?

I have several guitars that I want Fender Strat, Ukulele, Mandolin, and a Gretsch, Martin and Taylor. These will cover my ecclectic musical taste

Who is your biggest guitar influence and why?

So many from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Peter Mayer, to Jimmy Buffett as a true performer, but not limited to these.

Had a rare Monday off from my harmonica lesson, so I decided to check out the Glen Rock Mill Jam and enjoyed it more than I expected. Being a new BGG member and this being the first open mic I ventured out to, I did not know what to expect and just wanted to sit and watch and get the feel on what goes on and the members of the group. It was a warm, inviting atmosphere and Rocky made me feel like I was one of the family. The next time I get a chance to head to the Mill I will be bringing my guitar to do a few songs and use it as a vehicle to improve my playing like it is meant to be. Great job Rocky!!!! Wayne
