1st Historic Glen Rock Mill Inn Jam,

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! 1:00pm til 5:00pm

You don't wanna miss this one, we've been given the opportunity to have a jam at the historic Glen Rock Mill Inn in Glen Rock,Pa. (just a couple miles over the Maryland line). Even if you don't play, it's well worth the trip. Very cool building, great food and drink all at a 15% discount for the BGGers, plus the Mill's regular food and drink specials.

Bring your electrics, acoustics, harmonicas, or whatever else you can find. Let's make it one to remember and the 1st of many to come.

biggrin I just love this place!

For all of you who made it to GRMI (Gremi) yesterday Thanks for being there and it seem like everyone had a great time. We where scheduled to go to 5 but as usual once we get started time no longer matters. Cindy and Terry invited us back so at least we behaved ourselves. Thanks to all of you that stayed around to pack up and clean up. It was fun meeting the new folks and seeing all the "usual suspects". A long ride for a jam but well worth it!!!

Marv I think I know what it is, they only allow one person at a time to leave the Dalk. Why? They are afraid that when they see what's on the other side they won't come back!! I'm really worried about Saturday. Do you know how many people in Abingdon are from Dundalk? I think the last census showed 1 out of 4 people that live here migrated from Dundalk. Doug is already planning on spending the night.

Can't wait until we return for another jam at GRMI. Great setting, management was cordial & receptive, and it was a nice setup for playing. Food was great with Yuengling Draft on tap- always important to the Bass Thumpers. I was impressed to see someone who lives in Dundalk present in Glen Rock when some can barely make it to Harford County without whining. Those of us who have Dundalk area roots are always excited to see a 'Dalker come out beyond the Beltway. The saga continues....

Big thanks to Cindy & Terry at GRMI for allowing us to invade. Special thanks to Billy for all his hard work and sound equipment, and to John for making us all sound good. If you didn't have a great time on Sunday, you obviously were not at Glen Rock Mill Inn. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Marv, my singing might get us all kicked out of the state of PA forever, but if you guys want to chance it, I'll step up...hehe. Looking forward to meeting you all. See you tomorrow.

There will be drums, basses, guitar amps, and directs into the PA. We'll get you connected. Yeah, we mix it up, and you can sit in and jam. Do you sing? Have songs you want to anchor or lead, so to speak? In the jams, we strive to give everybody opps to join in. Look forward to seeing you there.

I assume there will be at least one open input into the PA for me to plug into or an amp that I can set everything to zero. I see there is a drummer (Shannon) that will be on hand. Will I just be able to sit in and jam?

Yeah, I designing a standup bass with Leslie cabs inside and projection baffles, but it looks like I'll need a forklift to move it and a crane to stand it up. Guess I'll have to settle for the P-Bass for a while...

Yeah Ron! It's been awhile. Glad you are going to make it. Shannon, drumming was my first love but my Dad decided that the guitar wouldn't be as loud. Probably worked out better for me.

Bigger than a breadbox, no, I don't sit on it. Did I mention that guitarists asking drum questions kinda scares me?

Steve the jam will be over by 6:00 at the latest. You know you can leave whenever yo uwant? It takes 1 hour to get home, that makes it 7:00. Do you go to bed before 7:00 on a school night? This is really sad.

The only way this could have been better if USA would have beat Canada for the Gold. What a great place for food. We had breakfast and lunch and if you were to have too much fun it is an Inn, they got beds, don't they L?
