Oh yea, definitely a fun learning experience. Also an encouragement to learn/memorize more mainstream songs.
Had a lot of fun.
Glad everyone knows how to play in the key of "H" :) Learned a couple of new tunes, and we beat up on some old ones. Looking forward to next time.
thanks guys for the Jam...nice songs and impressive playing...very cool
1st LFT outdoor - 48, Austin Grill - 40, 50th meet at Red Eye - 36, D-Day at Red Eye - 35, Acoustic at my house - 34. Those are just members, doesn't include drop-ins or non-member unrecorded guests.
40 at the last LFT outdoor jam.
I think a good avg is 20 - 25. I had that many at my Jam in October.
Man, we've easily had 35 or 40 at jams, right? Albeit they're outdoors.
Not all that fond of dogs, love lawn chairs in the street (I get my best patio furniture that way, if someone would please put out a nice grill, I'd appreciate it) :o) and... Yep, a 7 person jam is very small, check out some of our past jams and photo section.
yep yep, love dogs and sometimes, 'chair' is the only option. 7 person jam session is small?
Thanks Steve. Like dogs, like to jam, and honor the chair in the parking spot rule.
Address sent via email. This is a good time to update your RSVP status if you can't make it. We're not fond of "no shows". Especially when the Jam is this small.
So when do we get that secret location?
Is that a .... a..... Sneeze?! SYKE! Too bad Billy.
Anyone feeling sick? You know there is a flu going around?
I have a couple of 80s and 90s too. If you want to practice anything, practice something you'd like to play. We take turns leading (the rest of us will follow along). It's always cool to see what people bring!
Hi Chucker, The beauty of the guitar circle is you never know what the next guy is going to play. If I had to guess, I'd say, with this bunch probably, classic rock (60s-70s) will be most common. But who knows?
Hey, now that i think 'bout it. Never done the jam session thing before, anything/songs suggested to learn before hand?
Didn't see it until it was full. Maybe I'll come and sit on the porch. Steve probably told you and Mike a week before he posted it that's why you guys got in. Mom always liked you best.
Mr. Bill Vip. Wouldn't it figure.
Better late than never! Damn it!
